Commissioning a Kokeshi doll
It starts with a conversation
You might just have an idea of what you want, you might be unsure of what size, what theme… it all starts with a chat about it, your thoughts on it and whether you decide to order one in the end.
I will usually ask you about the general theme, elements you would like to see on your Kokeshi, if you have a colour scheme in mind or if you want to avoid certain colours. It’s all about what you would like ideally and how I can harmonize everything on your doll. You can send me photos of specific landscape, pets, unique elements… I will always do my best to render them as best as I can.
I have a waiting list, so depending on whether it’s for a present for a specific date or if it’s for you with no timeline, I can give let you know what is feasible.
